Our design process
01. Feasibility
This phase focuses on understanding your vision, goals, and how the space functions now and in the future, considering the needs of its users and their impact on the design.

- Information gathering related to the project such as documenting existing conditions, taking measurements, and photographing the existing space or site.
- Setting project parameters like initial schedule and budget projections.
Deliverable: A clearly defined written description of the project scope and interior design proposal. Revisions if necessary. Sign-off: Client sign-off is required on the project program.
02. Schematic
The Schematic Design phase uses programming insights to develop initial concepts, mood boards, layouts, and material solutions. Client-designer collaboration ensures project goals are refined and solutions are aligned.

- Initial Space Planning diagrams for working through scale and relationships, layout, functionality
- Multiple options will be considered with the designs and the best few will be presented to the client for review
Deliverable: Presentation of rough concept layouts, revisions if necessary.
Sign-off: The clients sign off on a single concept to move forward

03. Design Development
Design Development is the phase in which a single path forward has been identified, but all of the details still remain to be worked out. It is a time of refining solutions and gathering more information on items specific to the design.

- Further development of floor plan, including presentation of specific interior finish material and fixture recommendations
- Initial appliance and equipment selections considered.
Deliverable: Presentation of the developed and refined floor plan and specific finish, fixture, and equipment selections. Sign-off: The client signs off on progress and makes any changes known prior to moving forward
04. Technical
This phase focuses on finalizing decisions and providing detailed documentation, including written notes, 2D and 3D plans, and visuals, to ensure the project is ready for construction

- Creating the documents needed to get quotations from contractors from which they will construct your project and any necessary building permits as required.
- Finalizing details for floor plans, elevations, cabinet and finish specifications, lighting plans, door and window schedules, etc.
Deliverable: A finalized set of contract documents ready for quotations and Any further changes will be documented as change requests/ change orders.
Sign-off: The client signs off on documents received.
05. Construction
Once the final design is approved, the execution or implementation phase marks the realization of the design. Contractors’ quotations are finalized and prepare a detailed schedule of works, choreographing construction, installations and finishing in their proper sequence.

- Building materials, finishes, plumbing and lighting fixtures, hardware, appliances, window treatments, and furniture are ordered.
- General Contractors and sub-contractors work on-site
- Designer on-site for walk-throughs or during installation of key elements requiring direction such as lighting, plumbing, furniture, etc.
